Spay

Spaying your dog or cat is very beneficial. The procedure prevents your pet to reproduce and eliminates their heat cycle. It helps your pet to live a happier and longer life. Spaying will protect them from reproductive tract disease, prevent uterine infection and breast tumors which are malignant in 90% of cats and 50% of dogs.

Your pet might exhibit some positive behavioral change. Your spayed female pet wont get into heat, this means you will be experiencing less yowling and urinating, thus avoiding the mess that often accompanies with female dogs and the pacing and crying with female cats. A spayed dog or cat will be less likely to escape from the house.

Spaying is a surgical procedure where the ovaries and uterus are removed. This procedure requires the pet to be under anesthesia. At Animal Care Clinic, our staff follows strict protocols to ensure your pet’s safety.
